Why our name Spine and Rehab Centers in Central Florida
There are many names we could have given our business, but we chose ‘Spine & Rehab Centers’for a reason. Anything with the word chiropractic would have worked, however, we thought that if we were going to name it something, it should center around the things we center our business on. This is the spine and rehabilitation of the body.
There are many names we could have given our business, but we chose ‘Spine & Rehab Centers’for a reason. Anything with the word chiropractic would have worked, however, we thought that if we were going to name it something, it should center around the things we center our business on. This is the spine and rehabilitation of the body.
As chiropractors, the spine is the center of everything we do. We believe that by adjusting it, improving its strength and posture, you can help cure and alleviate many diseases, injuries, and chronic pain. So, for us, it made sense to have the word ‘spine’ as the key piece of our name.
Some chiropractic professionals center themselves around exercise and sports or even the elderly or services centered around wellness. And although we do all of that, what we do as specialists is rehab. This means helping you and your body rehabilitate from any injuries you may have had. Whether these are sports injuries, produced by a car accident or by falling, it is the ‘healing’ and life improvement piece of it that we center our work in. That’s why we called ourselves ‘Spine & Rehab Centers’. Because we center our practice around the spine and healing of your body through it.
Why is the spine such a key piece of ‘Spine & rehab Centers’ in Central Florida?
It’s true, chiropractors also work with muscles and other parts of the body. However, we center everything around the spine. The spine supports your body and connects it all. Your central nervous system runs through it and spreads to your arms and legs. It holds your head and allows for better blood flow to your brain by supporting it correctly. It’s even responsible for part of your sense of equilibrium which is why you may feel dizzy and lose balance when it’s not properly adjusted. So, in order for a body to function properly, the spine needs to be properly adjusted. Also, in the case of injured bodies, a correct spinal adjustment and posture can improve healing. Not to mention that, when injuries happen, the spine is usually damaged as well and tends to need rehabilitation.
Why we center in rehab at ‘Spine & Rehab Centers’
The reason behind this is that it’s mostly after an injury that people come to us. However, we encourage you to look for chiropractic care regardless. You don’t need to have an accident to go to a chiropractor. Preventive care is often times the best way to avoid other treatments or even do better if you ever have an accident.
Now, when we talk about ‘rehab’, we mean the rehabilitation of the body. This can also work for chronic illnesses such as migraines and arthrosis. So, don’t think of us just as a service for after having an accident.
